My best friend got his mission call today. He's going to the Cusco, Peru mission and he leaves June 22nd. I'm sure going to miss him, but I'm so glad he's going.

Fall Break. It's What Fun Is.

Fall break this year was epic. My roommates and I went first, to Zion's to hike the Subway, and second, to Vegas. We were so lucky to get permits to hike it (thanks Logan and Josh). The hike was so beautiful, but a little chilly- and by chilly I mean freezing cold. At some point we all had a blue tinge from swimming in the freezing cold water. Once we found sunshine though, we were all great. Saturday morning we woke up and headed to Vegas where we spent the day shopping, walking the strip, and eating at In-and-Out. It was a fantastic trip... then we came back to the world of homework. yuck.

i'm supposed to be. . .

studying. in the library. i have accomplished half of my goal. after all, i am in the library. i'm just not studying- which is quite unfortunate. but, since i have honed and mastered the art of procrastination in the last 14 years (and even more so the last 3) i'm sure it will only (hopefully) have minor consequences.

on a brighter note, i had a great weekend filled with no homework, football, friends, and hypnosis. melissa entertained us all by letting darrell hypnotize her on saturday night. i honestly don't know if i've ever laughed so hard for so long. it was great. i'm sure we'll do it again soon. :)

that's all for now... i'm going to attempt to study. (attempt).

well... my summer has been pretty uneventful. i'm living in evanston, wyoming and working at the Gateway Grille and Purple Sage golf course. if you're ever in the vacinity, please, stop by for a visit. i love visitors. :) my only other fun event was going down to southern utah to see my relatives for a family reunion, and as far as family reunions go, it was pretty fun. however, this weekend i will be back in logan... YAY! i can't wait to be reunited with my roommates even if it is for only 3 days. it is kij's birthday and she is turning the big 20 so we will be doing some partying. woot woot.

I had one of the greatest birthday's ever this week- thanks to all my friends. As a surprise they took me to Ogden to Texas Roadhouse and Rich and Brayden met us there. I was so happy to see them that I almost started to cry. I had tears in my eyes. Seriously. After dinner we came back to Logan and had cake and ice cream and stayed up way too late talking and laughing at Sian, Amber, and Kij. It was a great birthday. :)

I didn't get a picture of the whole group (what was I thinking?!?) But I did get one of Brayden and I.

In other news: Jason got 4th row tickets the Jazz game the other night and he asked me to go with him. Of course I said yes... It was a great game and it was super awesome to be that close! Thanks Jas!
